"VIMAGO™ GT30 is a Multi-Modality Masterpiece. It is capable of producing HDVI High Definition Volumetric Imaging (CT), Full-Featured Fluoroscopy & Digital Radiography."
– Greg Stoutenburgh, Co-Founder

A single platform, full-body imaging solution.

Epica's Latest HDVI Platform

Since its inception, Vimago has had the highest spatial resolution and lowest noise of any 3D imaging modality.  Now, with our newest model, Vimago GT30, we have further improved contrast resolution to rival any conventional CT. Vimago GT30 is capable of producing impeccable soft tissue details at 33% increased scanning speed and 33% increased stack size compared to our HU model.

HDVI Multi-modality Platform

  • Proven to be clinically superior to radio-graphs

  • Diagnostically superior or equivalent to conventional CT

  • Study setup in minutes (not including patient positioning & anesthesia time).

  • Replaces Ultrasound in many cases

  • Replaces MRI in many cases

Digital Radiography

Vimago's built-in Digital Radiography system can be used in a single shot or scanning mode to allow an entire patient to be scanned in a single radiograph. Images may be taken at any angle.

With Vimago™, you can view images in axial, sagittal, and coronal planes - because of this,  Vimago™ studies can be easier to read than regular radio-graphs.

High-resolution images, auto-brightness/contrast & frame rates from 1-30 fps. Interventional imaging quality that exceeds C-Arm systems selling for considerably more.
Any orientation of the patient may be viewed and the gantry can move over the patient during a study with 3-dimensional orientation adjustment.

Helping your clients make a better-informed decision about their pets health every day.

HDVI Differentiations

How is Epica's HDVI Technology Different than Conventional CT?

Conventional (CT) Computed Tomography

Compared to HDVI Technology

  • HDVI (High Definition Volumetric Imaging) is a new hybrid technology in CT (Computed Tomography) that provides unprecedented diagnostic and interventional information for clinicians.

  • Conventional CT samples densities within a patient’s anatomy, providing axial sliced data, leaving gaps in the data in-between each slice.

  • The data is reconstructed using interpolation, which works by using known data to estimate values at unknown points.

  • After the data had been interpolated it is rendered in axial and coronal data sets. The resolution is different on each side.

  • HDVI technology scans a solid volume of data at a time, resulting in gapless data, with no need for interpolation.

  • HDVI delivers a 3D map of densities with a spacial resolution that is the same in all three dimensions, with contrast equivalent to conventional CT.

  • This volume of data can provide resolution as small as 0.09mm which is about the thickness of a human hair.

  • Clinicians can see the data in any angle, thickness or orientation leading to superior diagnostic confidence.
