Welcome to Peregrine Radiology
Created by Epica Animal Health, a subsidiary of Epica International, Peregrine was set up to dictate the standards of radiologist-veterinarian relations. While many radiologists simply read, report, and return, our team of independent specialists has a standard of care to uphold. This includes:
A phone call from the radiologist for discussion of the case and diagnosis adding relationship and education to the table
Adding labels, arrows, and comments to images allowing you to communicate findings easily with clients
Not writing any derogative comments about the study in the report that won’t prevent you from being able to share the report with others
As an added bonus, all of our specialists are Vimago trained – making Peregrine the only radiology company that can read ANYTHING.
We thank you for stopping by and encourage you to contact us for any questions.
For our current clients, our Peregrine pioneers, we thank you for your trust and loyalty as we pave the way for how partners in medicine should be!
Please continue to stop by as we update, develop, and add further features to our ever-growing company.
Fast & Collaborative
The peregrine falcon is the fastest bird of prey in the world, reaching speeds of up to 242 mph. This bird has vision eight times sharper than that of people and is well known for its ability to work collaboratively with humans. Peregrine Radiology will provide fast, unparalleled service and quality, with a synergistic partnership between radiologists and veterinarians. Our team of Epica-certified radiologists will provide you with expert diagnostic imaging skills and unrivaled personal service. We will also provide our community of Veterinary clients recurring webinars that will explore interesting cases and discuss different procedures and protocols that can be used to enhance your Vimago and DR skills.
Breadth of Expertise
Our team of international, independent, board-certified imaging specialists are equipped to handle everything from radiographs to 3D volumetric scans. They have been Epica trained by Chief Radiologist, Dr. Robert O’Brien, DVM, MS, ACVR. Dr. O’Brien has more than 35 years' worth of experience and expertise in veterinary imaging. He’s worked with many prestigious veterinarians over the years investigating new and novel imaging protocols and methodologies. He adopted a philosophy of “test all preconceptions” and reject the “old and unprovable.” Led by Dr. O’Brien’s open-minded and scientific inquisitive nature, he has partnered with some of the most innovative minds in the industry to create a telemedicine service like none before.
With more than 230 machines installed in the USA, Epica Animal Health has gained a wealth of experience using our CT scanners. In addition, Peregrine (https://peregrinerad.com), a group company dedicated to remote radiology readings and education, has an impressive clinical case history. Here are a few videos from Epica Animal Health’s collection that demonstrate some of the amazing results that can be achieved using our CT scanners in the field of veterinary medicine.
